Hello I am Yeji Han!
I am a Service Designer working at Harmonic Design.
As a designer I am versatile, quick to adapt, and curious. I love the holistic approach, open mindset, and collaborative nature I can have with design. My goal is to be a designer that creates and influences services/products of positive impact.
I identify as an International nomad as well. My multicultural background having lived in the USA, Korea, Canada, Sudan, and Panama allows me to tackle problems and view the world in a unique light.
I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design ( SCAD, in June 2022) with a major in User Experience Design, and minors in Service Design and Graphic Design (Summa Cum Laude).

Pangaea
The globe you see here represents Pangea which is a hypothetical landmass that existed when all continents were joined millions of years ago. Like how Pangea joined the different continents together, I hope to be a designer who connects people around the world with design solutions.

Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character known for being a mastermind detective. I believe what makes him a successful detective is by being observant, empathetic, and persistent.
I bring those characteristics when it comes to design. Although empathy is important, I am a strong believer in looking beyond and into the context of users. Looking at problems and designing pertinent and durable solutions is something I always aim for in design.

A Tree
Like a tree searching for a water source, I am diligent in making sure that any design decision is backed by robust research. I ask difficult questions especially when it comes to advocating for users' voices.

International Nomad
Understanding different user point of view is almost my second nature that has been developed by being exposed to different cultures. The diversity within allows me to empathize with users more easily. However, I always challenge prejudice and assumptions to ensure ethical design.

The website domain with my nickname Eloise is inspired by the book character Eloise at the Plaza. What marks her personality is curiosity. I am very similar in terms of always being curious and excited to learn new things.

Fun Facts!
I have experience in various unconventional sports such as Kayaking, Horseback riding, Figure Staking, and Fencing. I know how to play the piano and am a self-taught guitar player.
